Kocho Shingal Fund - Donation Page

The Kocho Shingal Fund is managed by Dr. Amy L. Beam. 100% of donations goes to the displaced and rescued Yezidis after PayPal's 3.2% fee. I am retired, and I volunteer without pay.

In August 3, 2014, the Islamic State attacked Shingal, Iraq. The entire population of 400,000 Yezidis fled. Over 9,000 people were killed or kidnapped. On August 15, 2014, ISIS attacked the village of Kocho with a population of 1700. Over 400 boys and men were executed. All of the women and children were kidnapped. Children over age 3 were taken from their mothers and given to ISIS families for brainwashing. The name of this fund is dedicated to the memory of Kocho. Most of the surviving Yezidis are children.
